The Juvenile Justice Council of Iroquois County will meet on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the EMA Room in the Iroquois County Courthouse basement. All are welcome to attend in person or via Zoom. For the Zoom link, contact Barb King (JJC Chair) or message TIP the Scale on Facebook. Topics to be discussed include recent activities, upcoming summer events (Iroquois County Fair and Summer in the Park program), youth prevention education in the new school year, etc. Let’s keep working together, Iroquois County!
Calling all Iroquois County students (grades 6-12)! The Juvenile Justice Council invites you to enter our annual Teen Mental Health PSA Contest. Create a 30-second written PSA to promote mental health awareness, encourage positive choices, and inspire teens to connect with others and seek help if needed. Winners get to record their PSA and have it air on local radio (WGFA & The Buckle) + prizes!
