The Juvenile Justice Council held a celebratory meeting yesterday to honor and thank members for their efforts to stop underage substance use in Iroquois County. This dedication and hard work earned the JJC Blue Ribbon Coalition status by CADCA the nation’s top substance use and misuse prevention organization. The JJC appreciates each and every partner’s contributions and is committed to continuing their work!
The Juvenile Justice Council of Iroquois County will be meeting on Wednesday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the E.S.D.A. Room in the Iroquois County Courthouse basement. All are welcome to attend in person or via Zoom. For the Zoom link, contact Barb King, JJC Chair. Christmas Tree Lane at the Old Courthouse Museum is officially open! Come view some beautifully decorated Christmas trees and get into the holiday spirit. The Juvenile Justice Council of Iroquois County has trimmed a tree featuring their new owl mascot. WHOOO can prevent underage drug and alcohol use? YOU can! The JJC continues to partner with agencies, schools, businesses, parents and community members to prevent underage drug and alcohol use in our area. Working together we CAN and DO make a difference!
