Mark your calendar…The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting a Drug Take Back Day event on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Bring your unwanted and expired medication to the west door of the Iroquois County Jail (550 S. Tenth Street in Watseka). The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
